Hiking Club
The TNT Hiking Club is an informal group that meets mostly weekly throughout the year. (Trekking poles are recommended any time; MICROspikes when there’s snow on the ground.)
Our typical distance is 5-7 miles along some segment of the Ice Age Trail or another local loop. But don’t let the distance scare you away—it’s totally fine to turn back early for any reason.
Anyone is welcome to join. Bring a friend—four-legged or otherwise.
Just make sure to register each week so that we don’t leave without you and can contact you if anything changes last-minute—usually due to weather.
If you’re not a member, please send us your preferred contact info before joining us the first time. You can do so via the specified option on our contact page.

Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC)
The Tactical Strength Challenge is like a powerlifting meet but featuring different lifts: barbell deadlift for max weight, strict pullups or flexed-arm hang (FAH) for max reps or time, and five minutes of kettlebell snatches for max reps.
There are different divisions—which determine whether pullups or FAH are performed as well as the weight used for kettlebell snatches.
However, there are no weight classes within the divisions as the deadlift favors the heavier competitor, the pullup/FAH favors the lighter competitor, and snatches test all competitors relatively equally.
The TSC is always held on the last Saturday of April (or first Saturday of May) and the last Saturday of October.
